Solution 1:

Ensure "Microsoft VM" is enabled in 'Internet Explorer' under 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Advanced'. If you don't have this option the Microsoft Java VM may not be installed on your PC

Solution 2:

If you don't have the "Microsoft VM" installed on your PC you should download the free Java VM from Sun.


To install the free Java VM go to: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp


Note: Unfortunatally Microsoft stopped providing the Java VM on 7th October 2003. Which is a shame, but this is just the way how Microsoft is trying to get rid of all its competitors.
